This is actually one of the smaller ones, and he was the size of a softball, The bigger ones were actually harassing a Blue Jay. Hope you like.

Stunning shots!..I have never seen butterflies the size of a softball. They must be amazing to see!

I do not think the species is Monarch though?
The first two images look like a pipevine swallowtail...

Thanks, and you're right, they are Pipevine Swallowtails on the first shots. i liked the title "Giant Monarchs" better than "Giant Pipevine Swallowtails";)
