I just noticed that there appears to be dirt on the interior optics on my 100-400mm EF lens. I have no idea how this happened as I am very careful with the lens. I notice it when I shoot against a blue sky.

Does anyone know how I might remedy this problem?

Thanks

So you notice it in the viewfinder, or it shows up in pictures? Although it is frustrating, especially with a lens that expensive to have crap in there...it usually doesn't show up in photos...or so I am told.

most likely on your sensor. try with another lens. you might see dust specs in your lens but unless they are huge it most liekly wont effect pic quality.

I can see it in pictures against certain types of backgrounds at 400mm, (I use this lens mostly at 400). I do not see it in other lenses.
