These were all shot with my 40D and Tamron 10-24 manual exposure, no fill flash.

Nice Chas! The B&W at the last is really good.
I was going to say that something built this rugged and simple ought to be "bullet proof" but then I noticed the hole in the windshield... Guess It Isn't!

Sorry Frank... :(
Thanks for the kind words all! The B&W conversion is a infared effect. The sky goes dark and any kind of plant usually goes much lighter. Green leaves on trees are the best. I kind of miss shooting and proccessing infared film, but digital is less stinky!
That thing was/is a rugged and huge beast of a machine. The exit wound of that bullet was even nastier, just not as photogenic. Too bad things like this get forgotten and die. But that's life I guess...

I wouldn't be surprised if you could actually get this running without a ton of effort. Abandoned stuff like this does give us something to shoot....(with a camera) not real fond of target practice on old iron....never know where the bullet might decide to travel.

Yeah, construction sites used to have Eucs too, some with trailers, some not.
Nice series.
