Another finch on the fence tonight--this with the 200 f/2.8 +1.4 TC instead of the 100-400.

Very nice shot, Bonnie.
It seems you nailed the focus on the eye plus the bokeh is great.

This is a lens I have always been interested in but somehow never got around to buying.
How sharp would you say it is without the TC.

Hi Lomond,
Thanks! I am slowly getting better at focusing.
I have the next two days off from work--so this lens will get some tryout for sure.
I'll try to get some similar shots without the TC and see how it looks.
It is supposed to rain:( and I won't have such nice evening light if it does.
