I was tired of seeing my pocket wizard hanging on my light stand with the cord that came with it so I decided to see if I can make something that would do the same thing.

I bought a 1" Irwin spring clamp a long time ago but never really used it for anything.

All I did was drill and tap a 10-24 hole on to the flat part of the clamp, used some loc-tite on the screw and clamp, added some loc line segments to the clamp. I also super glued a 1/4" 20 screw to the opposite end of the loc line. After the glue dried up I just screwed the Pocket Wizard in. Pretty simple and I don't think it looks that bad.

It might not be the best but for some reason those little do it yourself projects always seem great.

I saw it but I kinda wanted to try to make something of my own. I did see a picture of Hildozine mounted on the top of a Canon 580ex and wouldn't mind having one for that reason.
