I used to be a member a long time ago, here. I used to use my Canon DSLR Rebel and then my 20D all the time. Sadly, its been a while since I have "fooled" with them as they are bulky and I always have my iPhone with me. I haven't kept up with the DSLRs, what is the latest model similar to 20D?

How many others are using their camera phone to shoot pictures instead of their expensive cameras?

I am looking to get a powershot camera, possibly. Any suggestions?

I suggest you look in the section of this website devoted to the powershots and such. Sorry, no paper shredder section

Welcome back...you've been gone a LONG while. The 20d became the 30d which became the 40d which became the 50d. There are rumors of the next successor the 60d being released in the spring.

Canon also released an "ultimate" APS-C sized sensor camera called the 7d.

Must have been a big rock! If you're looking for a good Powershot, there are quite a few decent ones out there now. If you like the functionality of a dSLR and the small package of a P&S, check out the G10 or the newer G11. I have the Powershot A610 and really like it, but it's an older camera.

This (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndexAct&fcategoryid=113) should provide ample information re: P&S cameras.
