We have the Canon 20D and want to buy the 24-70L today. I am planning to order it and we are in a bit of a time crunch as my husband is going to Peru next week and wants to take the camera with him. Anyway, I also need a filter. I was thinking the B+W 77mm but there seems to be different kinds on the BH photo site. Which one?

Also, we have a Tamrac Photo Video 7 bag. Do I need a different bag for the 20D and the 24-70? (also have the kit lens and hope to add the 50mm soon) If it fits the 20D and the 24-70 (not sure if it will) is it enough protection?

Lastly, I read about a blower to clean the sensor. Where would I buy this?

I am learning as I go and making small mistakes along the way. I am hoping for some help so I do not make more buying errors!

I was thinking of ordering from BH photo. Is this recommended? Do you guys buy extended warrenties on your lenses? Gosh, this is an expensive hobby! I am feeling a bit sick about all of this...

Thanks in advance for any advice you might have!

B&W filters are top of the line, make sure you get the multi-coated ones. A lot of folks use the giotto rocket blower, available from B&H, to clean their sensors.

You might need a bigger bag, you will definitely need more bags as you continue to buy stuff. Say goodbye to all your money. You can always have your paycheck direct deposited to B&H :D :D :D

B&H is a preferred vendor for many, if not most, of the people on this forum.
