Sometimes they get backed up and it can take 1 day to sometimes two weeks or more. It will happen. When I signed up I waited I think three weeks where as my wife only had to wait about 3-4 days when she did it.

Same here. My wife started a MM port as a model and she was approved in a matter of days. I think if your account is set as a Photographer it will take weeks to get approved.
