The main reason I got into photography was actually to take pictures of my car (the wife hates it when I say that). This is the newest edition to the family, I've had her since May and have been doing some modifications here and there.

I like the lines on the wall, I think it makes the subject a bit more interesting however can anyone suggest a way to lighten up the Miata but also take my reflection out of the shot?

can anyone suggest a way to lighten up the Miata but also take my reflection out of the shot? There are so many 'bad' reflections in it, that I can hardly see yours? ;)
As for lightening just part of an image, see: Airport runway shoot (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=117950)

I did something dumb: I gave my Miata away. Just gave it away.

Dumb, dumb, dumb. This was about three years ago. 91 Miata. Red. Great condition.

Dumb!

Yes, Dumb! Haven't you seen all the moaning from us about selling some great cars we wish we had today? ;)

Hey Scott. Another Jersey Miata owner here as well! Yours looks great. You might want to invest in a circular polarizer filter for your lens which should cut down some of the reflections a little bit. Another way would just be to change the location and get away from the trees.

The colour and the tan leather make it super Brit. Beautiful.
