2002 Del Mar Mile

I came across this image as I was looking for another image of my longtime friend Chris Carr. I shot this using the Canon D30 and a ef 80-200 mm lens. I cleaned up the image in PS3 and decided it looked better in B&W.

that is a great shot, driver is pretty focused/middle of the bike while the front part isn't (which is a good thing), shows a lot of speed, and that dirt trail is nice. Looks great in black and white too.

This really is a good shot. It shows motion. In fact, it appears as video in a sense that it really looks like he's moving (I know he really is, but.....oh, you get the idea).
