I'm looking for an affordable lightstand/umbrella bag or case with separate compartments (ideally fitting objects up to approximately 50" long). I was looking at this Kata bag earlier http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/319682-REG/Kata_KT_VE_110_3_Hexabag_3_Stands_Organizer_Bag.ht ml but $300 is a bit steep for a bag. Any recommendations guys?

This is what I have below. My Impact 9.5ft heavy duty lights are about 42" when folded, and this bag swallow it and still more rooms on the top for height.. I am not sure it's exactly 50" long but very close, all for $37.50.

I know you're looking for a 50" long bag but this is really affordable. It's a baseball bag for around $25. I've seen them as long as 45" long. Some even have wheels and are padded. You may want to look at some sporting goods store.

Do you know of any web link for this bag? What is the name on the bag, may be I can google search for it. This should be a real good bag. Thanks.

Mufutau that looks like a solid bag but it seems like I'll be needing more than three compartments. Yes I'd also like some more into on that baseball bag if possible :).

Yeah! I need more info on that baseball bag too, it's within my price range too..

Check this out.. this may be an option for you, but it's too expensive for me. I think it can fit betwen 5 to 7 stands..

Found some solid bags at www.standbagger.com with separate compartments. Price isn't too outrageous for the amount of storage space :).

You can google "Baseball equipment bag" or "baseball bag" and there will be lots of choices. The bag on the picture is the exact one I'm using and its about 36"x10"x10". Its big enough to hold 3 light stands, umbrellas, cords, etc. I even have the flash head reflectors in there. I carry the actual flash heads (Calumet Genesis) in a pelican case.

Just go to a sporting goods store and they should have a variety of choices. There are larger bags that holds more and even has wheels.

Hope that helps.
