Thanks Dom and Chris for your kind words. I was tempted to have a go- and the people were really nice, but with new camera and all, felt safer not to. Mind, it was very cold there today, but nice and sunny.

Really love the speed of the 7D! Wow! I was shooting 8fps and this meant I could take many photos and if a person's eyes were shut, well, I would still catch them open a moment later.

I had a really long walk which I liked. The golf hole , is no 8 by the way!

Yeah, I'm working on Hellingly. Currently building the new houses next to the place (I'm a carpenter). The site carpark is next to the 'hospital'. It appears popular with photographers and film makers. The security on site recently found a group making a porno in there!

Started back on site today and there is now an asbestos removal team in the building. Probably best avoided.

Having said that once the removal boys have finished security did say that it may be possible to get in for a few pics.

I saw this scene on my way somewhere else and stopped the car, stuck the 70-200 on and took it through the open car window. Weird thing was that all the sheep stopped and stared at me... then all came right over to where I was to see what I was doing!

The first two were shot in Buckingham (hopefully this is still classed as South East!!) the third in Milton Keynes.
JnO - I was lucky enough that it was dripping quite quickly, so just a couple of shots to get this.
All shot with my christmas pressie - 50mm 1.8 , hand held!
