Looking for an inexpensive quick release plate to support a Canon FS200 video recorder (it's like 10 oz.).

So far I've come up with the Flashpoint F3P (http://www.adorama.com/FPTH3P.html) as the leading option. Anyone know what material it's made out of?

Another option is the Benro (http://www.adorama.com/BE459040.html), which is clearly listed as CNC'd aluminum.

I'd like to stick with Adorama products because I'm ordering from there anyway. Thanks!

It's metal, probably aluminum; certainly light-weight. Check out whether any QR plate you get would obstruct your card slot though. Not a lot of point in getting a QR bracket you have to take off whenever you need to change memory.

Thanks for the heads-up. I went ahead and just ordered the Benro. Not too worried about interference as this will really be for very occasional use.
