What, me pull weeds? I don't thinks so.

The subdivisoin I live in has over 100 acres of lakes and I live on one of them and it is about 7 acres in size. The lake is a little low now from the dry season and I'm letting the grass/weeds grow within a foot of the water line so that when the lake rises there will be cover in the water. They sprayed everything and killed it 2 years ago and the Bass fishing really dropped off.

I've seen deer, squirrels, racoons and an occasional gator in my backyard. The other day I was floating in the pool and counted 12 hawks searching. I may do a photo essay on backyard wildlife.
I don't know where these guys come from but they show up about once a week and will eat out of your hand. I have five mallards that are our resident duck but they aren't quite as tame.
