I like the look of it. Too bad about the bystanders in the background (under elbow of blue shirt) and the 2 guys to the right.

It took about 3 minutes of PS time to take the little tyke and his dad out of the photo. After showing both versions to the band, they picked the one with the little fella, to sell at the merch' stand. I think the fact that the little guy is looking at the band makes him an integral part of the scene 'mood'.

Probably, if the kid was totally ignoring the whole situation as he walked by, his little body would remain in the bit bucket forever. I can be very vindictive at times.

I like the shot and the processing, but for some reason my focus is drawn to the buildings and sky. Maybe a tighter crop?

Very much not a fan of the processing...
IMO it doesn't add to the shot.

Also, for a promoshot I'd expect more careful framing & execution: I'd not crop of parts of hands or include random passersby...

But as long as the client liked it and it did the job for them that's the main thing.
