Managed to get 2.5 hours worth of subs of the old favorite Horsehead and Flame nebula.
Taken on the Skywatcher Pro II ED80 Gold at F7.5 600mm. Guided on ED120 / QHY5 / PHD
Imaged with EOS 1000D with Baader modification and Astronomik CSL clip LP filter.

I do like this area and really wanted to get a decent (ish) widefield view.

One problem...I don't see the horsehead! It's like when I was in elementary school and could see what was so special about those books when you're supposed to cross your eyes and see some image appear...I fail!

That is a terrific image. I can only dream of producing such results.
