In Need of Opinion

This is one of my daughter I took late afternoon, I know I am not very good at photography, but if you could indulge me a few minutes. I have posted this photo would you mind processing it and reposting it. I would be greatly thankful. Also I will be glad to send you the RAW just PM me.

In CS2 i'd probably turn contrast up from +25 to +40 or so, and increase the saturation from 0 to 15 or 20. I might crop it to be portrait instead of landscape. I might also try desaturating the background but leaving the girl in color. I don't have PS on this PC, I might try later if no-one else does.

Another more fun crop, added some saturation to the image, also adjusted the skin tone a bit (towards yellow) and did a soft focus effect on the image. I'd just played with the posted image... but it can be done so much better with the raw-file.

(soft focus effect on this small image was just about 3 pixles of gaussian blur on a copy of the background image and then blended with soft light).
