Old hot shoe flash on G10?

I have an old Focal DA-2000 flash from a old film camera, my question is can i use this flash on my hot shoe on my G10? Also (maybe a dumb question) but can it hurt the G10 or flash in anyway if i use it?

I'm not familiar with your flash, but most flashes will work, just not TTL metered, so you may need to use manual and the settings for your flash output..

One concern will be the trigger voltage...... If your old flash is a high voltage trigger, it may affect the camera circuitry. There are a few charts out there that have flash trigger voltages.......
