I'm going on a trip to California to visit family over the Christmas holiday, and then a cruise down the coast of Mexico, with stops in Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. Two weeks total time. I'll be taking the following gear in my Lowepro Slingshot AW200:

40D
17-40L
24-70L
70-200 2.8
580EXII flash
270EX flash
Epson P-5000
Associated bits and bobs (hoods, chargers, filters, G9, etc.)

Now, I don't want to carry all this gear with me all the time because it's too heavy. Instead, I'll be taking a second bag as more of a daily "go" bag to carry body/lens, and maybe a second lens and a flash. I have the following smaller bags in my stash to choose from:

A. LowePro Classified 140AW
B. LowePro Inverse 100 Beltpack
C. LowePro Toploader Pro 70 AW
D. LowePro Stealth Reporter D100

Shooting will be mostly travel-type, with good sunlight. I may do some night shots, but I expect not much.

Which of the bags A-D would you choose???

I would probably go with either B or C with the 40D plus the 24-70 or 17-40 + flash.

The Classified 140 will take a body and lens attached, and a light only, not a camera, lens and a second lens. Look at the Stealth Reporter, but I think to put the camera in with a lens attached, you may need the 200.

They're both the best bags made, IMHO.

Thanks Jay. By taking out almost all the dividers, I've configured the Classified 140 to hold an extra lens and my 40D with 24-70 attached (and my Black Rapid R strap!). I don't shoot much flash, but I can tuck the 270EX into a pocket somewhere.
