Heres a shot I took today for my neighbor. She is a month old, and I wanted to snap a nice little photo for them while they were at my place. I added the vingette as I thought it looked good in the black picture frame I put it in.

Is there anything I can do to make this photo better?

I'd say lose the vignette, it's kind of cheesy IMO. And the color kind seems off, maybe a little pink tint to it? Perhaps edit that.

Beautiful baby, unique name.

I thought myself that the color makes it seem warm, maybe im wrong.

I agree with Katie, she does look a bit too pink, it doesn't look natural and maybe you could tone down the vignette a little. She's a cutie!

Once you do the editing, I'd like to see the final photo :)

She's precious... :) The white balance is what people are seeing.. it's very, very warm, plus a but underexposed. If you do a curves adjustment to brighten up the exposure, it may fix the white balance, if not, You'd just need to cool it down some.

Were you using a regular light bulb for your lighting or..? Just curious... :)

Thanks Kristy, I tried to fix it a bit, What do you think now?

I was just using window light, she was in her bassinet under the window.
