got this from about 20 feet away with a rebel xt and EF 90-300mm
I kinda cheated tho and tempted it down onto the garden wall with a strategically placed biscuit (cropped out :)

i only managed to get 2 shots of it........... this one was the best..

Nice shot. Not a woodpigeon though - a Collared Dove.

We have a similar dove here in aussie land. we have finch averies and throw out the excessive seed to them, might have 40-50 small doves ( peaceful dove ) and a few collared doves, nice and sharp.

Lovely soft colours, nicely captured. Looks like it's had more than one little bit of biscuit.

Nice shot! Except for the colors, it looks a lot like our mourning doves.
