Sigma APO 100-300mm f/4.0 EX SPORTS SHOTS?

Can someone post shots using the Sigma APO 100-300mm f/4.0 EX lens?
Really want this lens, but wondering about handheld photos in sports and its zoom sharpness.

All shot with a d30.... if s d30 can track with this lens and produce these kind of results - a 20 d or xt will not have a problem at all...

Wow, wonder how far from the action they actually were. I'm seriuosly considering this lens with a 1.4 for my kids track meets and traveling soccer team shots.

Some distance in most cases. Some of those shots will have been taken with the Sigma 1.4x TC... I couldn't say which ones, though.

You want almost always use a monopod for sports. so avoid the handheld stuff.
