Guys I am loving your videos but I see one common element that is so often done that it's killing me I want to scream at you Canon guys to fix it because us Nikon heads can't yet:
If you are shooting 24 fps you should be shooting at 1/50th or as close to it as you can. Too slow and you miss frames. Too much faster than that and you are getting strobe effects. It's impossible to watch some of these great videos and see them flashing like a strobe light. Yes I know we are all very impressed with your shallow depth of field but if you don't pair that with an appropriate shutter speed it doesn't matter how shallow it gets.
I just hope they finally allow full manual on my D5000 cause EVERY video we take is messed up too fast or slow on this and it drives me batty that Nikon won't improve it yet...
