Anyone good with Wordpress? I want to start a blog and installed WP. found a theme but I would like to add my logo instead of using text for the title, any ideas how to do that?

You're best to go to www.wordpress.org and read the documentation there or the theme documentation - if that fails try the forums at www.wordpress.org

The besy thing you can do is add logo AND have text in the title. You want text for SEO reasons. Search Engine Optimization. It makes your site easier to find.

Their are some design tricks you can use to format type using CSS stylesheets.

Again, you WANT text in the title, and the TEXT you use is very important. The text should be related to the keywords you are trying to attract.

So a search for Keywords and do a complete study about what you will use for your final text. DO NOT under estimate the importance of the text you use in the title!

Depending on the theme, but a lot of the logos will be coded in header.php. You'll have to check the code.

I just replaced the banner back ground image with my own and then used the text option. Be mindful of what your host allows, everything started out fine on mine and then slowly but surely the host knocked off perms. I can't even upload a photo through WP now.

In short my site sucks.
