Something a little differnt, but a rapidly growing sport here in NZ and overseas.

Frist a little history, these are mini Land yachts designed and manufactored here in NZ. They fold up into a small carry case about the size of a large suitcase and only weigh about 30kgs. You can find out a lot more here www.blokart.co.nz

My parents have both become huge fans of them, to the point where they now own one each, a large pile of spares, and can be found at a local park or beach every sunday regardless off the weather. They just recently started compete in a National compition.

Having only just had the time to catch up on post processing the images, heres a small selection of some of the action:

Cool shots Moppie. :)

I take it, you've tried them yourself?

I've seen a house advertising them on Hillsborough Road, when I'm driving to the airport often.

Love the 1st one. Do they put runners on them in the Winter?

Well unfortunately, it doesn't snow anywhere near here.
Closest place is the mountains, and that wouldn't be suitable. We would have to find somewhere flat, sea level with snow, and the closest place that comes to mind is the Cantebury Plains, about 1500km South! :)
