Scanner!!! HELP!

Hello-
I need to do a good bit of scanning photos and 35mm negitives and I am looking for a good quality scanner. My price point is under $250. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks for your help.

Maybe the Minolta Dimage IV?

Try looking at some used Nikon Coolscan or Minolta Dimage scanners. You can pick up a used first generation Elite series scanner for less than $150. The Elite series has Digital ICE which will save you hours of time touching up dust & scratches.

The older Dimage Multi series scanners (2nd generation) is also a good value at less than $250. These can scan up to 6X6 film and has auto feeder mechanism. But it lacks Digital ICE.

Both scanners work fine with Vuescan.
