Got to use the new 7d at willow for industry day, I'm happy with the results. Focus was alot better than my 20d, much higher rate of keeper.

you'll probably get more of a responses if you select a few of your favorites and link the photos so they display here.
Willow Springs is a very long lens track, if you can't rent some big glass I would stick to turns 3 & 4 from the outside. The turn in the first shot that shows up when I clicked on the link I usually shoot with a 500mm f/4 & 2X teleconverter.
Next time stop by the gift shop and look at some of the track photographer's angles & locations.

Or if you shoot that same turn from the north side so the streets track is behind you you can get the cars as they come up over the peak of that turn and you can sometimes catch some of the quicker cars with their front inside tire in the air.

I was kind of stuck at the long straight. I had a trailer and supplies at my truck so i didnt want to drive around the track. I saw some of the pics another guy took from the press box looking structure, it looks like you could get some great angles there.
