Not exactly Christmas cookies, but a tradition my wife enjoys doing with our boy. These were with a P&S so they're the best I've got.

No snow in the Southwest.. but 2 hours north.. we have snow. :) Just got a report that it's snowing in the Rim Country...

We're getting some freezing fog (at least that's what they're calling it..??) right now and are expected to have blizzard conditions the next two days. Guess we might get a shot at a white Christmas.

A white Christmas would be kinda fun... the blizzard.. . not so much... :rolleyes: It's fun to stay in a cabin at the snow.. and get all freezing from playing outside, and then come in to a warm fire.... what a cool way to spend Christmas Day.. :)

Our mountains are covered and I have a full view of the Sierras from my front yard. Tomorrow I will see if the conditions are photo ripe and I will take some for you. It is freezing here... 29 degrees by morning!

Kristy, Aaron is coming to frost Gingerbread men tomorrow evening...so I should have a fresh batch of Christmas cookie photos.

He actually came last week. 12/12. I'm holding him right now. Evening time is kind of our time. My wife is an early to bed and I'm more of a night owl, so she crashes early and him and I stay up and chill 'til I turn in. It works out well so my wife can catch up on a little sleep at least...:)

Thanks and no prob. It's been fun. I sleep very little any way so it doesn't seem much of a change for me with a new little guy. The wife on the other hand would like a full 8 but hasn't been able to get more than three or four hours at a time...:D

Yep! Great shots Mike! Love them! We never got to finish making cookies.. 8 coffee cakes and we ran out of time, but we have all day tomorrow.... so for sure we will make cookies at some point.

I took a few snaps of the coffee cake making... but haven't downloaded them yet. Busy day.. I'll share something tomorrow when the excitement of the morning wears away. :)
