I'm plenty satisfied with my copy. Here's an image I shot while in DC last month. I've printed this image to 12" x 16" and you can count the individual tile. ISO 1600 • 1/20 • f/8 • 41mm • AV mode. NO sharpening has been applied.:D

so far I like mine. for this pic I only adjusted the contrast 2 points (using "the GIMP"). I didn't know about unsharp mask (otherwise it wouldhave been even better). it is not that good when it is dark but it is excellent in daylight.

PS: I forgot to add that all my pics are through UV filters (which may lessen the crispyness)

I am very happy with mine. It takes wonderful pictures. It may not be the lense that some of the pro's need but it sure does a great job for the stuff I have been using it for.

You guys just gotta stop running this thread subject. This lens is next on my list and I get all excited about it but can't do anything about it at this time :-( so quit teasing me ;-)
