We had docked at the town of Ruse, Bulgaria. It was late afternoon, and a bunch of the fellows had gathered for an intense game - cards, perhaps?
This image is highly cropped from the original, which was taken from a hundred feet or so away. The fellow with his back to us, and walking towards the game had been swimming in the not-so-blue Danube a few minutes before.
