We are having our carpets cleaned today so we spent quite a bit of time outside today. Here are a few photos of what was to be seen:

Love the squirrel. The "do" on the jay is right in fashion. The waxwings are beautiful. Now about those carpet cleaners ;).

Thanks! All are from my yard. I enjoy our rural setting and the wildlife that it brings!!

Great shots AJ....Beatiful colours. Today I thaught I would try to take some pics with mt 70-200f/4 in the yard and there was not to much. Took a few and then went downstairs to download them. Went outside again and there was a chipmunk, snapped a few of him then some of my flowers. Took a few of the kids tree fort and when I started to walk downstairs to download again I realized I forgot my card in the cardreader...DOH

Dan, that was very disappointing for you
I always thought that the camera stated 'no card inserted'
(or something like that) before any shots could be , or tried to be taken
if there was no memory card inside ?
