Can you please give me some suggestions of books/ links for learning PaintShop Pro 9 (preferably) ? I can understand the basics by just mis-handling the tools;), but tips and tricks and image enhancements is what I need to have.

I have just had a look at the links I have bookmarked and I mostly have stuff to do with making siggies animated stuff etc.

However there are heaps of sites out there, have you done a google search?..You can even do online courses, I did one ages ago. Very helpful with the basics.

I am now teaching myself photoshopCS2. Personally I think photoshop is better than paintshop.

Here's one:

PLEASE! In this thread, let's NOT have a war about whether Photoshop is better than Paint Shop Pro. The original poster asked links for Paint Shop Pro, so let's stay on topic here. ;)

I got many links for PSP, but they mostly give fancy things that you can do for the web. Not very useful stuff. I found a lot more tutorials for PSCS2.

I tried the evaluation versions of Elements, PSCS and PSP9. PSCS2 obviously is the king but again is very costly. Also, I am not sure if I will be using all the features that it offers (not that I know all ). Elements looks more like a photo organizer and I would become much more dependant on the wizards that it offers. So, I decided to stay with PSP9 until I have the money and motivation to go for PSCS2. PSP9 offers similar manual controls as PSCS2 and it should be much easier to make my move to PSCS2
