Anyone knows where I can download the manual? I've been googling it but can't seem to find it.

Doesn't seem to be on the Canon site, strange... what do you need help with? Lenses are pretty straight forward...

It does not come with a manual, only select lenses such as the 70-300mm is usm have it.

I received a Manual with my Canon 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. ;)

Its pretty simple and only 12 small pages (in English), so like others have suggested ask :)

well mine came with this

If you don't want to call it manual fine, but it has 12 pages in english with instructions :p

just bought this lens today and it has a manual...but it isnt helpful in many areas. if just tells you what features the lens has essentially.

What would you need to know?

The manual tells you
how to mount the lens
setting the focus mode AF/MF
Switching the focus distance range
How to manually focus with the focus ring
How to attach a tripod collar
Other stuff you can buy (hood, macro flash, filters, etc)

I bought the lens used, so thought I need to read the manual before using it. Got the lens today, mount it and started shooting. I don't think I need the manual.

not trying to hijack this thread, i just have a simple question so i thought i would ask it here instead of starting a new thread. when you buy this lens new, does it come with a warranty card? usually new lens comes with both caps, warranty card, and manual (if applicable). tia.

yes it comes with blank warranty card if you bought it new.
