And the last line:

"Dad and son take a walk behind the woodshed together, with a shovel. Dad returns alone...."

Life's little lessons come in many shapes and sizes. This one is a bit larger than others.
Nice capture.

"Toast, anyone?" :D:D Love that English humor! (Well, I guess it's humour there).
"Son doesn't have to wonder where he's going for the next 1,000 weekends, because he isn't going anywhere!"

Should be glad it was a Ford, if it was Chevy the house wouldn't have been standing.

I like to say that stupidity overcomes us all from time to time. That kid learned a valuable lesson that day.

Tis indeed a shame about the car, but what about the building? Take a close look at the stone work on it. That's the REAL shame of this. :(
BTW, I'll bet it'll be a LOOONG while before that kids Dad let Him have the keys again. Happy Fathers Day.

Make that a costly lesson

Reminds me of that 80's movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' (that one nearly made my heart break until I heard it had only been a replica  )

Best regards,
Andy

At least it gave you a good opportunity to use your camera!! You should thank your son - if he is not ten feet under by now!!!
