I was affected by this poor old mans sadness

50 years of Prize budgeriegar breeding and showing down the drain when thieves
raided his aviarys at night and stole almost every bird and eggs.

The gang were highly organised, according to police, and were knowlegeable about birds- They disabled the mans CC TV system before cutting a hole in the sheds and taking the birds, possibly to sell in England, as some were quite valuable.

Nice shot. Are you serious about the story though? or is it just a joke for the pic?

I've got nothing much against bank robbers but thieves like these, oohhh, they are really BAD persons. They will go to hell.

Also, one of that kind once stole my cell phone which was 3 feet away from me. While I was busy with my GF.

Edit: the picture is of course, really good.

Quote from paper:
"It is heartbreaking and I don't know if I can start again"

It IS heartbreaking but I believe he can move forward with his work. I wish him all the best.
How hard was it for you knowing his story and photographing?
Excellent emotional captures.

Sad story, good picture, learned something new.

Now I know what a 'budgerigar' is

I was thinking more along the lines of racing pigeons, but those will supposedly use less space.

Best regards,
Andy
