 ooch
( I was thinking of the film 'Roman Holiday' where Audrey Hepburn put her hand into something like it )

not too sure exactly the height, but it is very high, maybe about 30 to 40 ft
you are right Sandy. I was on the ground below looking up.
nearly always see funny things happening when I look up at those lions.
always amazed that anyone is allowed climb up (but glad they are)
great fun for everyone. both onlookers and those climbing
thanks a lot

Cool shot Marie. Where is this huge lion?

thanks Sandi

it's in Trafalgar Square, London
there are two huge lions near a huge fountain with lots of space for everyone to walk around and enjoy
it's a great place , especially on a sunny day

that's 'st martin in the fields' church spire showing in between the children

As usual, great shot Marie! It looks as if the other girl is telling her not to put her hand in there! Great composition with the lion's eye just at the top and the fantastic sky and clouds.

It's a good thing that lion has an overbite! Nice angle, too.

thank you bolantej
I agree with you
I thought it looked a bit odd
but then I got to like it
maybe because I'm not so good at that cloning business
(never really got down to it)
