Greetings everyone. This is my first post here. Just found the forum, and it looks like a good one. I'm an Admin myself on a motorhead forum (bobistheoilguy.com), so I'm very well aware that a forum's "goodness" comes from the members. Looking forward to a long and pleasant stay here.
I've been a Canon guy since the early 80s. Started with an AL-1, and ended up owning an AE-1P, an A-1, and an F-1. Then a long hiatus in picture taking until about ten years ago when I got into digital with a nice Olympus 3.1 mp model. Regained sanity and re-equipped with the good stuff ;) a couple years ago. Family inventory now includes an A570, a G-9, a G-10, and a DR XSi. They make it easy nowadays -- I don't smell funny after using PS. . .
Anyway, here's a "quick and dirty" favorite from last Haloween. This is my sixteen year old daughter who, at six-one, stands an inch over me now (gulp ). Please forgive the very, VERY crude coloring of the face. The idea was to get this snap online within minutes (on Haloween). The pic has generated a few laughs, but you really had to be there. Imagine the six-foot-plus sixteen year old, in a long flowing witch dress, wearing a two-foot witch hat. Now THERE'S a presence that's hard to miss!
