Please can anyone advise as to the best BAG/CASE recommendations please for 70-200f4 on its own, for travelling light
i.e. JUST taking camera and oned extra lens e.g. 50mm +70-200
so I might put the 50 on the cammera and have tthe zoom in a shoulder slung bag, or a case that carries it on my belt, or have the zoom on the camera witn a case to hold both ( least favourite option)

any one got a good solution to carrying a zoom of this FL (or 100-400 which will ppose the same problem) either on its own on on camera?

What I visualised was either a lowepro long thin case on my belt or same on a shoulder sling, I just hate cumbersome bags and rather than travel with all my equip prefer to take 2 lenses one on , one off, and go snapping. How to do that woith the 70-200 f4 (9.5 inches tall) is a puzzle as I can't seem to see the perfect case

I think you'll find the LowePro MicroTrekker is about perfect.

I have the microtrekker 200 - think it should be good for your list. Have you tried it?

I have space for my kit lens, Tamron 28-75 on the camera and I have already earmarked space for the 70-200 and a 1.4X converter. (the babies are due anytime:) )

I don't think my local shop has these in stock but I'll ask if they can get them in
