View Full Version : Ruined 883R and a couple of cool Sporty Tanks

Went to a little local show that had thee whole bikes that were interesting. Most of the bikes that showed up were the "Let's see how many tons of chrome cra* I can hang on my bike before the frame collapses" variety.

First, a couple of cool peanut tanks.

Next, I gotta give the guy props for originality.... I have never seen an 883R so screwed up.

Oversized forks, apes, wire wheels with white walls etc.... isn't that the exact opposite of what an 883R was designed to be? You know, the tuned suspension, dual disk front etc.

I know exactally what you mean, so many people think if they dip everything in chrome it'll look good :rolleyes:

Nice pics... I really like that orange/black tank. Got any more?

First, a couple of cool peanut tanks.
Looks like a LOT of attention to detail was paid on this first one. Very nice.
The second one is just plain cool for the way it fades front to back. :D

WHADDYYA MEAN? It looks PERFECT for "Ringling Bros". :lol:

Nope, the rest of the bike was pure vanilla except for a bad air-brushed bulture on the rear fender. The tank was the best part.

Yep' another good quote is 'chrome won't get ya' home'.......each to their own though eh', pretty much like a couple of bikes I just posted, but the bike magazines love em'.......thankfully!

It looks like it was made by a Golf Cart compnay....
