Does anyone know if Pekka will be releasing an update to his fine LS D60 action? I thought he was working on fine tuning the sharpening action...but that was a couple of weeks ago I think.

Hello!
LS D60 ("Linear Sharpen for the D60") is an "action" (a sort of macro routine) for Photoshop, created and maintained by the admin of these forums, Pekka.
LS D60 converts, sharpens and optionally 'tweaks' linear TIFF files that have been derived by using software such as Canon's Raw Image Converter 2, or Breezebrowser, to convert RAW D60 files.
LS D60 is an excellent tool for anyone shooting in RAW mode on a Canon D60!

This may be posted somewhere before, but I have not found it. Is there a way to run lS in a batch mode, and If so, how?
It is taking a extreme amount of time to run LS on each individual picture when I have about 40 or so to run. If there is a way to batch it, I could start it and go do someting else for awhile.
Thnaks,

Bill,
You can create an action to do this quite easily, but you will have to use the same LS D60 option for each image.
- Select the set in which you want to create the action.
- Click on the create new action icon at the bottom of the Actions Palette
- File>Open pick a file (it doesn't matter what)
- Select the LS D60 option to run, and click play
- File>Save As
- File>Close
- Click the stop recording icon
To process a batch of files, which must be in the same folder (or sub-folders) use File>Automate>Batch:
- Choose set and the action you just created
- Specify source folder
- Specify target folder
- Make sure override open and save as options are both checked
I think that's it.

Roger,
If you are still following this thread, I could not get the process you outlined to work.
Any ideas what may go wrong in this process?
On the "Select the LS D60 opton to run,, and click play", are referring to the newly created action, or the original action? I used the original acton.
Thanks for your help.
