My Grand-daughter

Before I got my L lenses, I was fiddling with my 28-200 and happened to snap this of my grand daughter. It was rather red, and the exposure wasn't the best, but I like the shot. So I spent a bit of time in Photoshop trying to correct for its deficiencies. I did do a bit of sharpening of the eyes and the lips, but not the rest, as her skin was rather dry and rough that day, and I didn't want to make that worse. Anyone have any ideas how to make this any better?
