This is my first concert shoot, I picked up an SLR for the first time a month before the concert so this is about as amateur as it gets. Taken with my dad's Canon EOS with the stock lens from second row seats orchestra left. I don't know much about what I was shooting at; the lack of light meant I had the thing balanced on the seat in front of me to keep it as stable as possible and praying the performers didn't move too much. I threw some cheesy effects on them in iPhoto just to clean them up a bit and that's about it.

looks like you need another lens...these are two noisy/blurry from motion. also, wait until the performer is facing you.
