Hi, Had the 300D for about 6 weeks with the 18-55 lens. Bought the 55-200 to go with it. Now have the 55-200 stuck on and it will not come off. Tried pushing the button but it seems stuck hard. Anyone had this or any ideas of a fix or is it off to Canon. Maybe I should have stuck with Nikon ?
Thanks
Neil

Nah... Canon is good enough. Maybe you are not doing it right... while you keep the button pushed in, you turn the lens clockwise, or up and away from the button, to get you a direction on how to turn it.

Clockwise if the camera is pointing away from you.. counterclockwise if you are facing the lens end of the camera...

keep the button pushed in
remember to do it on a table, stay calm and keep trying. it'll come off.
i have a lensbabies that gives me a bit of trouble coming off, i have to turn it a few times before it comes off gently.

With Canon SLR's you need to turn the lens anti-clockwise whilst depressing the button to remove it from the body. I'm not sure about newer Nikons but it was necessary to turn the lenses clockwise to remove them on the older medels.
