Here's two pics of a Male Canadian Goose. I took these shots yesterday at Turtle Town Pond, here in Concord, right before a thunderstorm. As always, comments and criticism welcome.

Thanks, I think I was the lesser of two evils. With the impending thunderstorm (a bad one) the family (mom , dad and 2 goslings) just stayed huddled on the boat ramp and I was less than 15 feet away. They never really seemed to be bothered at all by my prescence.

Nice shots!
Forgive my nit-pickyness - It's actually a Canada Goose. Unless it has a passport to prove Canadian citizenship.

Thanks and no need to apologize. I am glad you took the time to correct me. There is so much to learn here on this site and thanks to you I just learned one more thing.

If it's in New Hampshire,. they could very well be American Canada Geese...
Airedale.. very good shots :)
A question,. how are you discerning male from female? Based on behavior,.. or is there a physical way to tell? (well, ..... other than gettting really intimate ;) )

Good question. I am only guessing based on the fact that there were two Canada:D Geese and two goslings. I base it on the view shown in the picture below.
The one on the left closest to the goslings and smaller than the other is I am guessing, the proud mom. The one standing sentry, the proud dad. Again, just a guess.
