Hello everyone! Here are some shots that I took last week. Please brutally criticise my works so I can get it better. What would have to be done from lighting, posing, background, clothing.... to make these pics better. I am prepared to take your comments.

Does anyone know how to modify these links so they can show the pics not the links? Thanks.

How did you do it?
I've wondered the same thing.

Thanks

My first observation is that her hair seems to blend too well with the background on some of the pics...maybe backlighting her a bit to give a bit of an edge would have helped.Nice shots, though. Keep it up!

Easy... There is a icon on the editor which is "Insert Image" You click on that icon and insert the link that lead to the image to the pop-up window and it will show. ;)

Um... I like them but I do agree about the darkness of her hair against the backdrop. They're fairly similar in colour/shade/hue/whatever. And this may just be me but the dark shadow at her cleavage catches my eye in pics 2 and 3 but it bothers me because it veers to the right so much.

Very photogenic model though!

Buy a comb? ;-)
I like the 1st one except for the hair across her face. A bit of hairlight wouldn't hurt.

If these are intended to be portraits or glamour shots, I would remove the dark circles under her eyes and as previously suggested do something about the background. Here hair almost disappears into the background.

Thank you very much for all of your comments. One thing about hair light, should I put it above, sides or back of the model to create a better effect. Thanks again.

This is digital, so experiment! To start, try up & to one side to her back so the light doesn't hit her face. Use a lens shade. Maybe try a gell on it, blue or amber & see what you like best. A bounce card to her back on the other side might help. You probably won't need much! You're almost there in the 1st shot.
If you have another light, just a touch on the background wouldn't hurt, either, but it's your pic. You make the choices to get the results that you "see". ;-)

i would experiment with different backdrops as well. try white, i think it makes reds pop. as stated, digital definitely makes it easy to experiment. keep trying. very nice so far, though.
