First shoot!

G'day all,
some pics from my first shoot with my new 17-30L, two feature bikes for an Oz bike magazine........didn't have tiem to practice with it so some inconsistancy is present but I'm stoked with the lens.

Your shots look GOOD! I'm not big on "Ape" hangars, but that last Scoot will do nicely. ;)

Nice shots and there are some nice features on those rides. I am very jealous of your double bike layout... getting paid to take pictures of bikes? That's a sweet gig.

Heh heh, we were supposed to have a model for the shoot but she had a car accident and got busted for driving under the influence. I've worked with models before on bike shoots and to be honest their lives are usually full of drama of one kind or another, which leaves me in two minds about using them at all. However, it usually ends up being the magazines choice and on this occasion they didn't care, suits me!

Hey Roger, Yeah, that sounds about typical. I'm betting though that Frank was actually referring to the "Solo" seats on the Bikes. ;)

Thanks for the defence Bruce, but it was partly that & partly that he's alone in the shots where most bike mags seem to like to have a female in some shots. Hey Frank I dunno' about a true biker girl, the only reference I had before the shoot was that she removes her clothing for a living.......I was prepared to keep an open mind!
