Went to the Airshow here today ... great show, as usual. Looking through my photos rather quickly, I had one that caught my eye. Thought I'd share it for a laugh.
If you're a Blue Angel fan ... Great news! Looks like there will be a new generation of Blue Angels coming along. Please don't be offended by this ... it happened in front of thousands of people watching the show

10D with 100-400 L lens (IS setting #2). I had the camera set at 200 ISO and was using shutter priority at 1/250 (might have been 1/350).
It just cracked me up when I saw it.

Classic maneuver... it's called the 'fortus', by the way. I have no idea what that means...

Now THAT'S a nice shot. I cant imagine how difficult it must be to fly that precisely and at those speeds while upside down.

I got the same shot from Pensacola Beach in July, 2006. I was on a 12th floor balcony so my perspective is a bit different... wish my color was as good as yours, but nice shot

I have that almost same shot from the same day. I was on my boat in Little Sabine watching the Blues this year. Great times were had. Great shot.

This is cracking me up.....so many of us there clicking away. I think I have the exact same shot as well. We stayed at the Hampton Inn and were there for all 3 days of practice and show. I'll share some pics today or tomorrow once I get them downloaded and cleaned up (we just got home last night).
