I've just bought a Sigma 28-300 DL Hyperzoom 3.5-6.3 (display model, mint £90 from Jessops). The problem I seem to have when using it with my D30 is that compared to the Canon lens (28-90 and 70-300) it is overexposing. I have not yet determined how much but
it seems to be between 1/3rd and 1 stop. I cannot understand how this could happen as the test shots are of the same scene, same lighting, same everything, any thoughts? I have another 14 days to return the lense if its faulty, I know I can use exposure compensation to compensate for this issue but if the lense is faulty I'd rather return it. Any suggestions appreciated.
