Has anyone used this before? It has overall decent reviews on amazon. I wanted to pick up a digital hand-held meter to use mostly with my medium format film camera.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
thanks!

Gossen has been making light meters for a very long time and at one time were the preferred meter of professional and studio photographers. I don't know what kind of quality they're putting out these days...

Writing as the owner of a Gossen Digisix: (http://www.photographyreview.com/mfr/gossen/light-meters/PRD_135859_3115crx.aspx) it's the smallest, lightest and least expensive non-needle light meter on the market. Its low price probably comes because it doesn't have some of the fancier data and readout functions of other meters. You have to turn a dial to get exposure readouts and the method of changing settings can be a little clunky. However, the meter does a fine job of getting the incident readings that are important to much photography. Also, the sale price listed by Amazon is very good. And, there's nothing wrong with using a simple meter that gets the job done.
Note that Gossen also sells a Digiflash version of the meter for flash exposures. (http://www.amazon.com/Gossen-DigiFlash-GO-4007-Analog/dp/B0000AE6A7)
