My Daughter

Put a white sheet up in the bathroom and got my daughter Leah to model for me. Rushed a little but had fun doing it.What do you think?

Hi There.

Nice shots. Only thing id mention is in the second shot, the focal point appears to be her hairline.
Try using manual focus or a slightly larger fstop to increase DOF a bit.

What sort of camera / lense / settings were you shooting?

I really like the first one... it really captures me.

I like the idea of the second one too. Maybe try it again with a smaller aperture to increase the DOF. It looks like it was focused on her forhead, but her eyes and everything else are a little soft.
Also, judging by the catchlights, but i think you might have used the on-board flash (or at least a top-mounted flash)... if you tried to move that somewhere else on a lead or bounce it off the roof, then it might help with the the strong reflection on her forhead and give a more even illumination.

One last thing, maybe some contrast between her white top and the white background would be useful too.

All in all, great shots though, great work.
